LET’S TRUST GOD WITH OUR IMPOSSIBLES

TRUST HIM TRUST HIM!

I can almost guarantee that if you have lived long enough, sooner or later you will face a situation in life that seems impossible.  You will view a situation that in all your humanness you see it as impossible to be true, impossible to solve and impossible to go on.

JEREMIAH 32: 17   “AH, LORD GOD!  IT IS YOU WHO HAVE MADE THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH BY YOUR GREAT POWER AND BY YOUR OUTSTRETCHED ARM!  NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR YOU.”

I have been in this place…….the place of impossible.  Last August when my husband was diagnosed with an incurable blood cancer a year to the month of my breast cancer being diagnosed, I cried in a way I never have.  I was completely broken in heart and soul.  From my vantage point I couldn’t see how to move forward.  It was overwhelming because of the weight of the diagnosis.  I will never forget the sweet doctor saying with such compassion to my husband: “Mr. Gonzalez, this cannot be fixed.”

In the midst of my pain, I still went to GOD because I know in my soul that there is nothing too hard for HIM.   Nothing.   And nothing is impossible with GOD.

Charles Swindoll says it like this:

“WE ARE ALL FACED WITH A SERIES OF GREAT OPPORTUNITIES BRILLIANTLY DISGUISED AS IMPOSSIBLE SITUATIONS.”

How wonderful to turn our perspective in this way.  Just to think that really any of our impossibilities are just brilliantly disguised as the impossible.  Only our great GOD could do this!  Only a Sovereign GOD does this for HIS children.

You may be facing right now an impossible.  Maybe it’s a job layoff, or a health diagnosis, or a family member in dire straits.  Your impossible may be caused by a series of bad choices or maybe you are just a victim not by choice and not of your own doing.  Place your fear and place your hopeless heart in HIS capable HANDS.

DON’T GIVE UP……..TRUST GOD WITH YOUR IMPOSSIBLE.

Face your impossible with courage and humility.  Let the LORD take the lead.  Stop trying to fix the situation yourself.  Let go and let GOD, so to speak.  The enemy would like nothing better than for us to give up, to give up on GOD too and go down a destructive and hopeless road.  Keep focused on your FATHER and HIS will.  Because HE promises to deliver us!  And HIS promises are true and faithful.  HE is a GOD of grace and a GOD of mercy.

JOHN 12: 46   “I HAVE COME AS A LIGHT TO SHINE IN THIS DARK WORLD, SO THAT ALL WHO PUT THEIR TRUST IN ME WILL NO LONGER REMAIN IN THE DARK.”

So……..that…….all…….who…….put………their…….trust.  And there you have it.  It’s plain and it’s simple:

TRUST HIM……..TRUST HIM!

There is your hope.  With GOD alone, there is always hope in our impossibles.  With GOD all things are possible.  Remember today, who you are and whose you are.   And know deep down that trusting the LORD means it is never, ever hopeless and impossible!

MARK 10: 27    “JESUS LOOKED AT THEM AND SAID, WITH MAN IT IS IMPOSSIBLE, BUT NOT WITH GOD.  FOR ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD.”
