So where indeed is your happy place? Honestly it could be anywhere and we all need a little happy these days. I was walking the other day in a different neighborhood and just happened to see a house with a couple of chairs on the porch. One pillow read: Our Happy Place.
Our homes tend to be sanctuaries keeping us safe from the cruel world. But I have kinda come to the conclusion that stuff around me doesn’t necessarily make me happy.
TRUE HAPPINESS CAN ONLY BE FOUND WITH JESUS.
HE alone is our source of true joy and truth and don’t these two things set us free? HE is a source like none other, a deep well to go to.
GENESIS 21: 19 “THEN GOD OPENED HER EYES AND SHE SAW A WELL OF WATER.”
Oh open our eyes, LORD JESUS to see that well………a well of happiness and blessing. May we know deep down that YOU alone are our provision and what our soul ache needs. Let us learn through YOUR word that true happiness is not a place, but a person and dear LORD, it is YOU!
EPHESIANS 1: 3 “BLESSED BE THE GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO HAS BLESSED US IN CHRIST WITH EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING IN THE HEAVENLY REALMS.”

“stuff around me doesn’t necessarily make me happy.” – And oh isn’t it sad to see those who don’t know about Jesus’ love, who try to fill that void with “stuff.”
Indeed, “YOU alone are our provision and what our soul ache needs!” We can find all our peace and rest in Him.
“true happiness is not a place, but a person and dear LORD, it is YOU!” Amen, and amen!
