SUNDAY REFLECTIONS

If you think about it………isn’t it a wonderful thing that the Gospel truth has been passed on and preserved after all these years?  The purity and the holiness of the Gospel is unchanged.  And it never will change!  What a comfort for those who believe.

GALATIANS 2: 5  “WE WANTED TO PRESERVE THE TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL MESSAGE FOR YOU.”

Paul writing to the Galatians said that even though false brothers were infiltrating the ranks, that they did not give in to them for a single moment.   Sounds to me like they not only stood their ground, but were standing upon the ROCK of the WORD!

JOHN 1: 1  “IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD, AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD, AND THE WORD WAS GOD.”

The word of GOD already existed…….. it was an eternal word to be passed on to those who would listen with all heart and soul.  And this wonderful word exists for us today, still pure, still tried and true.

ISN’T IT WONDERFUL OUR GOSPEL TRUTH WILL NEVER GO AWAY?

No matter how people in this world try to cancel the Gospel or pervert it, be assured that the Gospel truth will never die.  It is eternally secure.  And because of it, there will always be a remnant of GOD’S people…….

ROMANS 11: 5  “SO TOO AT THE PRESENT TIME THERE IS A REMNANT, CHOSEN BY GRACE.”

And it is by grace you are saved……..another Gospel truth that is wonderful!  And because we are saved, the Gospel truth continues into this generation and the next.  People will persecute us for it, try to cancel it, pervert it and erase it……..but that will never be.   Our great and wonderful GOD is in complete control and GOD and HIS people will preserve the light and truth of the Gospel.  Knowing this should comfort all our hearts!  Continue to share HIS truth with someone you know today, share JESUS and HIS love for the world.

JOHN 3: 16  “FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.”
