All of us are spiritual messengers……..did you know? GOD writes upon our lives every single day so that we can bring HIS messages to the world.
JESUS IS THE MESSENGER OF THE WORD AND HIS WORD IS TRUTH.
JOHN 1: 1 “IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD, AND THE WORD WAS GOD.”
The word was GOD………think on that for a moment. The word, the message, HIS message was there right in the beginning. GOD sent and is still sending HIS message to our world, over and over, because of HIS great love for us.
HIS MESSAGE IS CLEAR AND HIS MESSAGE IS ETERNAL.
It is a simple message, a gift really. It is too simple for some who are unwilling to believe: Believe in JESUS, repent and be saved and you will have eternal life.
Words for us, words and wisdom we should listen to. Because they were there even before us, in the beginning of time. Timeless words to embrace to save our souls.
Because GOD loves us and we are HIS people, we don’t need anything really, but we do need a Savior. We need JESUS because HE went to the Cross to save us.
1 CORINTHIANS 1: 18 ” FOR THE WORD OF THE CROSS IS FOLLY TO THOSE WHO ARE PERISHING, BUT TO US WHO ARE BEING SAVED IT IS THE POWER OF GOD.”
GOD’S SON came to save. JESUS saved by dying on the Cross for you and for me. And HIS incredible message, HIS word saves our needy souls.
JOHN 14: 6 “I AM THE WAY, AND THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME.”
HIS message was simple…….come. Come and be made whole. When we understand this message, HIS words to us, then we can be HIS message to the world.
We can be a thankful people today…….thankful that GOD is entrusting us enough with HIS message too. We come to it, learn it, embrace it and then carry this powerful message of unending love to those around us. We are walking messengers of HIS great love and mercy and what HE has done for us. We are not perfect by no means, but we are loved. So let’s not keep this message for ourselves because it was meant to be shared.
USE YOUR WORDS TODAY TO LIFT ONE SOUL YOU KNOW.
Because HIS words are perfect and true…….when shared they assure, convict, complete and redeem. HIS words are immeasurable. There are not enough words in our English language to describe our GOD of love. But we try…….and we should. Because HE has a message for us and for the world…….repent and be saved!
MATTHEW 5: 2-3 “AND HE OPENED HIS MOUTH AND TAUGHT THEM SAYING: BLESSED ARE THE POOR IN SPIRIT, FOR THEIRS IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.”

God has given us a great gift. This reminds me of Luke 12.48: “And everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and from him to whom much has been committed, more will they ask of him.”
Much will be required of us. I don’t want to be one of those skidding into Heaven (1 Cor 3.15: “He himself will be saved, but only as if through the flames.”). I want the full-blown peace and joy God promises to those who overcome (as He mentions in Revelations).
