I have a stack of written letters from my father and they mean so much to me to read and to know how much he loved me. Our Bibles were written for us by a gracious FATHER too, as a living letter of Spirit and Truth. GOD has put all HIS love, provision and care for us in one place, an amazing book for all the world to read.
But if you think about it………we are living letters to one another too. God is writing the millions upon millions of stories within each of our own lives.
OUR MOMENTS ADD UP TO A LIFE WELL WRITTEN BECAUSE JESUS IS IN IT!
Our Christian lives are evidence to one another and those around us that JESUS is writing upon our hearts and our inner spirits. None of this is written in ink, but all with the Holy Spirit…….
2 CORINTHIANS 3: 2 “YOU YOURSELVES ARE OUR LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION, WRITTEN ON OUR HEARTS, TO BE KNOWN AND READ BY ALL.”
Because GOD is in our stories, then our stories are enough. They are enough because a perfect GOD is writing them. And this is why we need to tell others and share what GOD has done for us.
HE WRITES AS WE LIVE.
And we live and are evidence of HIS story within each of us…….
2 CORINTHIANS 3: 3a “AND YOU SHOW THAT YOU ARE A LETTER FROM CHRIST…….”
What is written so profoundly upon my heart and upon yours, needs to be shared today because the world needs better stories than what people are currently writing. What is being written today is rude, crude and disgusting.
2 CORINTHIANS 3: 3b “……..WRITTEN NOT WITH INK BUT WITH THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD.”
We can write things down, how GOD and HIS love works, but we should not leave our words on paper – we should share them with whoever will listen! Share HIS love and the GOSPEL today. Share your heart that belongs to HIM and HE will continue to write the stories that need to be told. YOU are a story that someone can read. Be vulnerable and share what GOD has done in your heart.
2 CORINTHIANS 3: 3c “……..NOT ON TABLETS OF STONE BUT ON TABLETS OF HUMAN HEARTS.”
Once GOD has changed and transformed our hearts……..then we can go and change the world around us. So remember today that your story is being written by our great GOD. Your story is enough, enough to be shared. Let GOD write you. Be a living letter of CHRIST. Because HE gave HIS life for you, so you could share your life with others. So live it out, trusting that the best AUTHOR in the world writes upon your heart so that you may have life in HIS name!
JOHN 20: 31 “BUT THESE ARE WRITTEN THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS THE MESSIAH, THE SON OF GOD, AND THAT BY BELIEVING YOU MAY HAVE LIFE IN HIS NAME.”

I love how you brought this out! I’ve read all those verses before, but they never hit me the way you show.
How unimaginably amazing, in Heaven, to “read” Jesus’ stories in each of all of us, to really see His glory manifested in so many facets!
