SOUL MINDFULNESS

The only true way to know the current state of our souls is to get alone with GOD and ask HIM.  Taking the time, whatever that looks like for you, is important to the health of your soul.  If we don’t seriously take these precious times to heart, it will lead to this……

UNLESS WE SLOW OUR SOULS, THEY BECOME WEARY.

All our rushing around doesn’t seem to leave much time for GOD and we need to change that.  HIS plans are for us and not against us……why can’t we just rest in knowing that?

JEREMIAH 29: 11 “FOR I KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU, DECLARES THE LORD, PLANS TO PROSPER YOU AND NOT TO HARM YOU, PLANS TO GIVE YOU HOPE AND A FUTURE.”

GOD KNOWS OUR FUTURE AND HE KNOWS OUR TOMORROW.

If we trust HIM with our tomorrows, then maybe we can trust HIM in the moment.  If we slow, then our souls will not empty out, they will become full!

PSALM 94: 19  “IN THE MULTITUDE OF MY THOUGHTS WITHIN ME THY COMFORTS DELIGHT MY SOUL.”

When we feel the full weight of our sins and understand HIS grace for us, then we will be more mindful of our time with GOD.  Give GOD the dedicated time in your life, every day of every year until your life is no more.  Ask yourself always when dealing with the stuff of this world……..

HOW DOES WHAT I AM DOING IMPACT ETERNITY?

In the preciousness of time, we should come to understand that when it is gone, it is gone forever.  So spend those moments GOD gives you with mindfulness of your soul and of those souls you love.  If you haven’t shared the gospel with your loved ones, do it now, before it is too late.  Care more about someone’s soul than someone’s opinion of you.  We get stuck in that worry of what someone thinks of us, it’s time to put that aside and to be bold for the faith and the truth of the GOSPEL.  Our world is very much knee deep in false truths, we must go against this whenever we can.  Share HIS love, share your testimony…….souls going to hell are at stake right now.

Caring for your soul and those souls around you is what GOD calls us to do.  HE wants us to win souls for HIM.

MARK 8: 36  “FOR WHAT SHALL IT PROFIT A MAN, IF HE SHALL GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD AND LOSE HIS OWN SOUL?”

Let’s remember after JESUS died and was resurrected, that many were baptized in HIS name and the disciples continued to win souls for the kingdom…..

ACTS 2: 41  “THOSE WHO ACCEPTED HIS MESSAGE WERE BAPTIZED, AND ABOUT THREE THOUSAND WERE ADDED TO THEIR NUMBER THAT DAY.”

If we are mindful of our own souls and care as much for others, then let’s continue to bring others to JESUS by our actions and words…….live all in…….. for JESUS.  Live like your very soul depends upon it!

Pay attention when your soul is weary, spend quality time in the word and in praise and prayer.  GOD does not want us weary, the enemy does.  So fill your soul each day with GOD’S love for you. Fight for this time, eternity is coming.

PSALM 42:  1-2  “AS THE DEER PANTS FOR STREAMS OF WATER, SO MY SOUL PANTS FOR YOU, MY GOD.  MY SOUL THIRSTS FOR GOD, FOR THE LIVING GOD, WHEN CAN I GO AND MEET WITH GOD?”

  1. I’m all in, Maxine! 😁
Your post brings to mind two verses:
Psalms 46.10: Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
And Psalms 139.23: Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts
We must, as you say, take the time each day to bow quietly before our Lord and seek His face.
And this: “If you haven’t shared the gospel with your loved ones, do it now, before it is too late.” We are embarking on a road trip, hundreds of miles away to a family reunion. None of my family know the Lord. My older brother converted to the muslim faith when he married, and they are firm and faithful in that religion. Please pray with me that my husband and I will be faithful to God; that God will open doors and hearts; and that we will hear His still small voice (1 Kings 19.12) guiding us (Isaiah 30.21).

    1. Oh Kathy! Prayers for your trip for safety and then for GOD’S discernment in all your situations. Be bold for the LORD and speak wisdom when needed. But I also pray for peace for this reunion. May you and your husband be the light of JESUS!!

      1. The wonderful thing about my family is that we all truly love each other, and enjoy being together. I gratefully accept your prayers for peace, because if God’s going to open our mouths, He must bring peace among us and between Him and my family. Thank you so much.
