We all pretty much have one thing in common right now and that is being stuck inside. Oh how our worlds have shrunk! A friend of mine said that it is GOD’S way of telling us to “be still.”
But oh there is so much more! We need only open our eyes and ears and look and listen. In the midst of this coronavirus, wherever we are, we can find HIS best at work!
Let’s remember all the healthcare workers on the front lines, doing their best to fight this. GOD’S best is working through them in giving them strength to endure. I am sure there are many stories of wonderful doctors and nurses, helping the sick get well.
As a nation, there are governors and mayors and all of government that are working for the people to keep us as safe as possible in this crisis. GOD has all this in HIS control.
The scientists are amazing in that they have already started trials for a vaccine and they are studying this virus to understand it and all of this focus will help future disease. Isn’t it wonderful that GOD has given us such talent?
People are coming up with new ideas online so we can all communicate better with one another. Many many Pastors are finding ways to care for their flock, to care for HIS Church through HIS grace and mercy in CHRIST. Everyone seems to be speaking to one another through screens, but so thankful for them because in the past, we didn’t have this kind of technology.
We are in a waiting period…….are we resting in GOD? Where are we dwelling? Who is our true Shelter?
PSALM 37:34 “WAIT FOR THE LORD AND KEEP HIS WAY.”
Can we see HIS BEST in all of these circumstances? Because the enemy is good at telling us, none of this is enough! But remember, GOD IS ENOUGH. HIS BEST IS SEEN IN HIS PEOPLE.
HIS BEST CAN BE SEEN IN HIS CHURCH.
The world will tell you one thing, but GOD’S word tells us quite another. Right now GOD is doing HIS best and so is HIS SON, JESUS…….
JOHN 17: 9 “I AM PRAYING FOR THEM. I AM NOT PRAYING FOR THE WORLD BUT FOR THOSE WHOM YOU HAVE GIVEN ME, FOR THEY ARE YOURS.”
One of the best things we could ever know or learn or realize is that in the midst of our suffering, JESUS is praying for HIS children. GOD’S best is HIS SON who died on the Cross for our sins. Don’t miss HIM in all of the chaos around you!
GOD is in control right now and HE has HIS very best plan put into place. We might not see it, but it is there! Trust what HIS word says to us……..
PSALM 37: 5 “COMMIT YOUR WAY TO THE LORD; TRUST IN HIM, AND HE WILL ACT.”
HE is the GREAT I AM. HE is acting right now on our behalf. HE WILL keep all HIS promises to us. Have you looked for them today? Have you opened HIS word today? Have you looked for HIS best today in HIS blessings for you? The GOD of the universe put the stars in the endless sky and the sun and the moon…….look vertical today my friends!
Pray for GOD to give you HIS lens in all of this……..HE will, because HIS word says HE will never fail us! Worship HIM this week, either online, or outside or in the quiet of your room. GOD is good, and HE is good all the time…….in all circumstances. Find HIS best.
HIS best for us begins in trusting HIM and opening ourselves to everything that does come our way……good or bad, suffering or joy.
All of us right now are and should be very aware of our family around us and those friends and family who are far away and neighbors too…….do you see HIS blessing there? Don’t miss this best opportunity to tell those around you how much you love them. Your authentic walk with the LORD can be seen by the care of your neighbors. Because GOD’S best is HIS love for us……..and that love came down to us in the Babe in the Manger, JESUS CHRIST.
Don’t we want GOD’S best? Then why do we try so hard to go our own way thinking what we know is better? Maybe right now, with all our extra time, we should be turning to HIM with all heart, mind and soul!
2 CHRONICLES 7: 14-16 “IF MY PEOPLE WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY AND SEEK MY FACE AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, THEN I WILL HEAR FROM HEAVEN AND WILL FORGIVE THEIR SIN AND HEAL THEIR LAND.”
Recently our nation had a National Day of Prayer. Let us, as HIS people keep prayer in the forefront of our minds every day that goes by. This can be our best as HIS people.
GOD’S best is HIS abundance of love and grace for us……..HIS best is immeasurable! Remember that! GOD and all that HE is………is immeasurable. This truth is one of HIS best! And this truth should be stamped upon our hearts.

PSALM 31: 14-15 “BUT I TRUST IN YOU, O LORD; I SAY “YOU ARE MY GOD.” MY TIMES ARE IN YOUR HAND.”
I enjoyed reading this.
With God all things are possible.

Praying that, during this time of family isolation, God “shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers,” (Malachi 4.6) and that we will be fervent, “lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”

Oh have prayed so much for those on the front lines who are needed desperately!! All of us in one way or another know someone in that role! Many will get sick and many will die. That is a fact. But our GOD is bigger than any of this……HE is working and HE will strengthen those who cry out to HIM! Stay well. Bless your heart too!
