LIVING IN GOD’S PARADOX

IF you think about it, GOD’S economy is an upside down economy.  The world tells us to be one way, while the GOSPEL according to JESUS tells us to live quite another way.  And right now it seems like our society embraces what is bad, and rewards evil and hate.  Let us instead, live like JESUS, going against the norm, living and loving others as HE did, in spite of opposition and persecution.

Let us love others with no strings attached, rather than seeing those who cross our paths as the opposition.  Lift up those around you, rather than tearing them down at every opportunity.

To live high is to be brought low…….on our knees with a repentant heart.  Instead of standing proud, we humble ourselves daily before the LORD.

When our hearts are broken, with JESUS, they are healed in a way that no one can touch and with time our hearts are stronger than before.

When we are weak, with JESUS, we are strong…….strong because we stand upon the ROCK.

1 PETER 1:5 “WHO BY GOD’S POWER ARE BEING GUARDED THROUGH FAITH FOR A SALVATION READY TO BE REVEALED IN THE LAST TIME.”

The world looks down upon the weak, eats them alive, but JESUS lifts them up, has compassion on them and restores them.  We are strong only with JESUS by our side.

When we repent, we are victorious.  When we confess our sins, then JESUS frees us from our prison of shame and we are free.

MATTHEW 1: 21 “……FOR HE WILL SAVE HIS PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS.”

When we have nothing, we have everything.  We have the GOD of the universe living within us, that no one can snatch away.

When we live the GOSPEL according to JESUS, we enter through the narrow gate instead of the wide open road that leads to sin.

MATTHEW 7: 13: “ENTER BY THE NARROW GATE.  FOR THE GATE IS WIDE AND THE WAY IS EASY THAT LEADS TO DESTRUCTION, AND THOSE WHO ENTER IT ARE MANY.”

When we are willing to bear the Cross, we wear the Crown of life!

When the world struggles in adversity, we count it all joy realizing that those troubles purify our faith.

The world may tell us to give up and move on, the GOSPEL according to JESUS tells us to persevere.

Knowing that the evil darkness comes, we are certain that HIS light shines and overcomes that darkness.

JOHN 3: 19 “THE LIGHT HAS COME INTO THE WORLD, AND PEOPLE LOVED DARKNESS RATHER THAN THE LIGHT BECAUSE THEIR DEEDS WERE EVIL.”

When the world drains us to our core, the SAVIOR refreshes us abundantly when we enter into HIS presence.

Our goal of living in this paradox is our secure faith, tried and true, knowing that the faith we have received is truly the salvation of our souls.

1 PETER 1: 8-9 “THOUGH YOU HAVE NOT SEEN HIM, YOU LOVE HIM; THOUGH NOT SEEING HIM NOW, YOU BELIEVE IN HIM, AND YOU REJOICE WITH INEXPRESSIBLE AND GLORIOUS JOY, BECAUSE YOU ARE RECEIVING THE GOAL OF YOUR FAITH, THE SALVATION OF YOUR SOULS.
